Hey my lovelies! A big Happy Monday to you all - Welcome to the week!
I have to say that wasn't the most successful of weekends so I'm quite happy to see the new week.
We didn't manage to do much of what I had planned. I completely failed to get tickets for Glastonbury, despite spending most of the morning with both mine and Mr Peach's laptops at arms length, refreshing web pages. Fail!
We did manage to go out for a walk and a big cup of frothy coffee in the sunshine, which was lovely.
I managed to make my first chocolate torte, which was yummy but absolutely no good for the diet.
And we both caught up with lots of completely indulgent, un-educational television, including the new series of Strictly and Homeland.
So, I'm absolutely determined that this is going to be a far more productive week.....ready to join me?
Last week my wishes were:
1) Job applications. This didn't go as well as I'd have hoped, but I have made some important decisions. I would like to say thank you so much to those who left such lovely words of encouragement for me - thank you x
2) Continue 30 mins per day excercise - This actually went really really well - I went out every day for a bike ride, except Tuesday and have worked out a nice 10k route.
3) Clean our bedroom and sort all my accessories & products - What can i say? This did not go well at all. I even managed to temporarily lose one of my precious wedding earrings, but this was obviously fate as finding it led me to one of my favourite bracelets with silver horse's heads on it, that I've been missing for months (it was under my bed).
I did, however, do some fiddling around with my blog, in the process learning some new ways to edit my photos, a bit about web editing and a little bit of coding - so I did achieve something after all!
This week I've decided to keep it really, really simple. It's not really a wish so much as an instruction to myself. This week I am going to switch off all music, TV and other distractions and spend the afternoon, every afternoon, working at my kitchen table. (That's not my kitchen up there in that picture, but I'd like it to be...isn't it lovely?!)
This is going to lead me to have the most productive week ever! Promise!
So, where do you do your best work?
